This is a cloud-based subscription package offering advanced workflow and routing functions for your dictations. If you have a Smartphone you can use this application as a supplement to your normal dictation device.

Free App Versus ODDS Licence

While the Olympus Dictation app is available free, the annual subscription license is required for the following:

• Recording in DSS & DS2 format
• File encryption
• Integration with ODMS Transcription Module
• Embed priority setting in the file
• Embedded work type in the file
• Administrative settings

Therefore, professional users (i.e. medical and legal practitioners) would benefit greatly from the ODDS licence – of particular note, for the encryption capabilities.
